Glassheim/Untouchables Hard Rock Club
Yesterday the long-awaited day came when I went to see Phil Lewis' L.A. Guns live in concert at Glassheim, Jevnaker (Untouchables Hard Rock Club). An amazing show, to say the least - and of course I'll give you the lowdown!
When I got there I was introduced to three other girls with the same taste in music as me: Oda, Stine and Ine. We turned out to get along very well, so we spent the entire night together, walking around in Jevnaker and inside the rather small concert venue.
There was a lot of waiting before the concert started and between the three support bands (Skye Rider (SE), Niterain (NO) and Deafmazjiin (NO). Skye Rider weren't that impressive to me, Deafmazjiin were OK, while Niterain was the best of the three), but it definitely was worth the wait when the four of us got the offer to meet L.A. Guns backstage ("backstage" at Glassheim means the kitchen, ha). The four of us were taken backstage to the guys where we took a ton of photos and got the stuff we brought signed.
After the show there was a meet and greet with the band, however the band wanted to grab something to eat before they came out. And then when they finally did, only Scott and Stacey showed up. They signed my pants, and I got this photo with Scott:
As you may know, Stacey left the band last year, but yesterday he announced his new act/supergroup Let It Rawk, consisting of him, Brent Fitz, Oz Fox, Sean McNabb and Jaime St. James.
